Concert Band

The Concert Band at Grand Rapids High School is comprised of students in grades 10-12 and is under the direction of Mr. Sander Grotjohn.  This ensemble focuses on performing all styles and varieties of music, from the classics to modern music.  The group will spend time studying the elements of music theory and standards in music.  In addition to performance concert band also spends time to understand the enjoyment that music and the arts can offer in a future society, understanding the FUN that music can provide.
