The Varsity Band is designed for all 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th grade brass, woodwind, and percussion students who wish to develop their ability to perform instrumental music and did not participate in marching band.   Included are studies in instrumental technique, music reading, expressive playing, critical listening, diverse instrumental literature, and performance skills.  Students will perform at concerts and also attend concert band contest in the spring.
