The Grand Rapids Jazz program is part of a comprehensive music program offered throughout the school district. Jazz bands are offered beginning in the 7th grade and these groups study music of all different styles.

GRHS is proud to annually hold the ISD #318 Jazz Fest. This festival brings in important jazz musicians to the Northland thus exposing all to the art form that is jazz. Click HERE for more information on the 2012 Jazz Fest featuring Allen Vizzutti.
